Description
Though frequently bedridden, in the final stages of Swamp Fever, the pony will feel compelled to find their way outside, so that their burgeoning roots may dig deep into the soil, permanently anchoring them as they stiffen up while their canopy forms and flowers blossom, spreading that infectious pollen… There is no known cure.
Yay! More trees!
And when you do, you’ll make a nice tree yourself.
They too will become infected.

Such wonderful, flowery words. Bravo!
Cheer up, you’ll be a budding poet one day. It just needs to grow from inside you. One day, your rhymes will blossom.
You need to reach deep inside, feel where the puns stem from, and just let them out.
@Chicago Ted
I tried to come up with my own pun to join in on the fun, but I can’t seem to get the hang of improv. My delivery’s always too wooden somehow.
Fir sure.
Rooted in pretty well, is it?
… I hope you’re proud yourself. I’m never gonna get this out of my head now.

Yeah, should just leaf the puns alone on this one.
Beat you to it.
Hoof branching… That sounded dirtier in my head. XD
Also, tree rings.
