My first decent sketch in long damn time. I thought of a scene between Starlight and Sunset where the former “discovers” her human belly button much to the amusement of the latter.
Still without a scanner. Please forgive the quality of the CamScan. I tagged this piece “safe,” since there is nothing overtly “suggestive” in it.

They have umbilical scars, but they look more like a flat scar in the shape of a line than they do a ‘belly button’ in the sense of a human’s. So the sheer difference in shape and depth is still probably interesting to discover.

Sunset Shimmer : Nothing. boops Starlight’s belly button

Sunset Shimmer : Sorry! But however there is something special you can do with that, add a gem on it!
Starlight Glimmer : What gem?
Sunset Shimmer : Well, there is something you have to become… a real belly dancer!
Starlight Glimmer : surprised Oh, geez, she’s going to kill me!
