I never even wanted to argue that. My point is I wished she un-snapped a little more.

I believe we are talking about different things. I’m not saying she never snaps. I’m saying the comic seems to focus on just her snapping in some manner.
Personally, no, I don’t see how this Pinkie would sing the Smile Song or back down from a goof off once she feels she’s not making her friend happy with it.

Yes, she can have crazy episodes. The thing is, those are in proportion to her being normal, silly, cheerful Pinkie. Twilight isn’t always how she was during Lesson Zero either, or Applejack as she was during Applebuck Season, or Fluttershy like in Putting Your Hoof Down.
