Scintilla was the first dragoness to become dragon lord, but will always be remembered for her utterly odious cruelty. This despot was so ruthless that dragon law has imposed a term limit on every dragon lord since.

Over on DA Queen Cold said that Scintilla committed suicide. By cannibalism
I can’t be the only one getting a Targaryen vibe from her (I realize this likely isn’t a reference to that as cruel dragon ruler is not exactly exclusive to that series, but it’s still fun to point out).
Still, I have a feeling she didn’t just abdicate peacefully and dragon-kind probably had to pry the Dragon Lord title from her cold, dead talons.
Although, she could have pulled a Sulla.
Then again, it really does come down to yaks being bad artists.
