Okay, these dolls are OFFICIALLY non-canon in my headcanon. Much like EqG 4’s dolls ON THE SIMPLE FACT THAT THEY FIXED TEH BOX ART WHEN IT WASN’T F***ING BROKEN! I LIKE the Supreme Pony-Up (that’s what I call the pics of the girls with makeup on. You see Normal Pony-Up in the movies, the box-arts from EqG 1 to 3 have Supreme Pony-Up). I like the dolls from the movies. But THIS?! THIS IS AN ABOMINATION!

I guess when fans said “Could they look any worse?”, it was taken as a challenge.

I think she was put out accidentally, that would not be the first time this has happened at this particular location. There were about four or five Sunset’s total, which is unusual because she’s so often hard to find. But none of the other girls, who I assume are probably going to be out later.
 
As for the box art, there’s really nothing interesting that hasn’t already been seen and posted here, I think. Plus I shredded it getting her out.

So the store are selling them earlier than planned, maybe these 2 dolls where the only ones to be selled by the moment kinda like a sneak peek, and start selling more characthers in December, and i repeat, their faces still do not convince me, but if in the future they release another characters with higher quality materials maybe i’ll give them a chance

This article actually lists them as December for the US and January globally. She’s still early, but if they’re introducing the Youtube series now, it makes more sense to release them in December than Spring. Though, I would not be surprised if they show off some newer dolls alongside these at Toy Fair next year.
 
Most surprisingly, she was only $10 USD, so I grabbed her. Makes me wonder if there are “deluxe” dolls with more articulation/ outfits on the way like the last line had or something similar.

Also, to be fair i think the minis are now in charge of bringing playsets and new clothes to the same seven characters (Like the beach or mall wave)  
If they produce new of those standard dolls maybe are just to bring more characters (I REALLY REALLY HOPE TO SEE TRIXIE AND STARLIGHT DOLLS) and not forced to see the same characters but in different clothes that i’m sure that it was like the 50% of the problem on the minis and old dolls

I thought that they go on sale until 2018 and gave more details of the dolls in the next year’s toy fair; did you checked the price of the doll? I supose they kept the same price
 
Well, i like the details of the new ones, the faces are really the only problem here, but to be honest i never liked the old dolls, im happy that we’ll never had to see them again

I know I’m in the minority, but I think these dolls, and some of the older ones, are pretty cute. I’m really glad they’ve brought them back, even if they just have the one wave (thus far).

I hope that those are the only wave of this new dolls to be produced and continue producing new mini dolls
 
But i think sunset is the only of this dolls that i would buy just because i really love the boxart and clothes

Also, I’d imagine 3D printing those skinny limbs would make them very fragile.

Still looks nothing like the characters. I don’t know why they don’t just 3D print the SFM models and sell those.
