Good point. They also look like they’re both at least partially Saddle Arabian mares. Perhaps it’s a Saddle Arabian thing to have a more pointy horn.

Tell that to Fleur-de-lis and Sassy Saddles, Tempest has a similar body type to those two and they both have the longer pointier horns.

The regular horn just looks off to me. Too long, I think.
How come? It was straight in the flashback, and even the foals in Mistmane’s segment of “Campfire Tales” had small curves to their horns already.
