Actually, they already made the screen transparent, so you can skip the part about selecting the white area and pressing delete.

You don’t actually have to use GIMP, but you need a program that can do transparencies and layers to do it this way.

Here’s one way to do it:  
Ok, first get GIMP.
 
You’re going to want to grab the movie screen template. Not sure where it is, but I saw it.
 
Paste the movie screen image into a layer.
 
Using the magic want tool select the white part. Press delete on your keyboard.
 
Make a new layer. Move it UNDER the layer you put the screen on.
 
Paste your image into this layer.
 
Export, upload, done.
