The Egyptians did use the evergreen tree to celebrate life, yes, but not like this. The Christmas tree was started by the Lutherans during the second half of the 18th century.

Your sense of history is seriously messed up, friend. Christmas was first celebrated during the time of the Roman Empire, in 4th century CE; the Egyptian Empire had died in the 11th century BCE.
