I retract that previous statement. Sky has a burn on the right side of his face(our left). So Derpy probably caused that scar out of anger, meaning, sky must have killed Onion

Onion gave Sky the scar for sure. Sky probably reacted in a violent manner so that could have caused a fight between Onion and Sky. Obviously though, Onion could be dead, or just simply missing.

Here is my prediction: she tells him, he freaks out and yells and curses, she either tells him he can’t come to the wedding or that he can if he changes his attitude, she has the wedding, either just before they kiss or right after Sky kills Onion and leads a group of dawn knights to attack to village(this is the formation of the dawn crusaders), during the fighting Derpy hamons Sky in the face giving him his scar.
