Those kinds of reflections are supposed to look like a horizon and part of a sky. With the way it’s drawn, the reflected setting would be an upside-down world with the sky on the bottom.

Haven’t people copied from artist techniques for years though? Like going to an art gallery and studying art to better themselves?
So whats wrong with the reflections? everything looks fine to my untrained eye.
But this is the MMA era of art,just copy from superior artists,monkey see monkey do,hopefully in a few years i can be as good as bigdad,nobody has time to go to the dojo and devote themselves to study the milenial traditions anymore.
This makes me think that artists are just copying techniques without knowing why.
