Alright, I kinda like this card, even if Jade Druid is literal cancer…

And I know that 10 mana cards are hard to think about or review because they need to be overpowered to be worth spending your entire turn playing them…but we’re talking about Druid here, a class that can get 10 mana incredibly easily, and already has an array of cards that are considered “playable but not overpowered for 10 mana” that are insanely overpowered due to Druid’s ability to ramp like crazy.

On top of that, Druid is also a class with a lot of card draws like Wrath, Nourish, and Ultimate Infestation. On top of that, its not hard for them to have “dead cards” in their hand in the late game (Jade Blossom and Wild Growth for example)

This card has its full effect if you have 6 cards in your hand when you play it, which isnt an unreasonable request, again, given the ease of access of UI. Even in an incredibly generous scenario that you only played 6 jades before you play this card, we’re talking about 61/64 of stats. With taunt. If they don’t have an instant full board removal, you won the game.

In fact, it’S grossly overpowered since it’s possible on turn 7

Turn 1 (1 mana, 4 cards in hand) - Jade Idol (1)
Turn 2 (2 mana, 4 cards in hand) - Wild Growth
Turn 3 (4 mana, 4 cards in hand) - Jade Blossom (2), Jade Idol (3)
Turn 4 (6 mana, 3 cards in hand) - Aya Blackpaw (4, 5)
Turn 5 (7 mana, 3 cards in hand) - Jade Blossom (6), Wild Growth
Turn 6 (10 mana, 2 cards in hand) - Ultimate Infestation.
Turn 7 (10 mana, 7 card in hand) - Celestial, which gives you this board: 4/7, 7/7, 8/8, 9/9, 10/10, 11/11, 12/12.

Yeah, that’s an overwhelming amount of stats right there, enough that most classes can’t even deal with it if they were simply minions, and you’re making them taunt, otherwise the obvious counterplay would be that its a slow, powerful card and you need to zerg him down. But this card stops aggro right in its track and saves you from death, even if you were to only discard two cards, you’re mostly safe from aggro decks’ small minions.

Lets see about making it even more obscene by being the second player
Turn 1 (1 mana, 6 cards in hand) - Coin Wild Growth
Turn 2 (3 mana, 5 cards in hand) - Jade Blossom (1)
Turn 3 (5 mana, 5 cards in hand) - Nourish for Mana
Turn 4 (8 mana, 5 cards in hand) - Jade Blossom (2), Nourish for Cards
Turn 5 (10 mana, 7 cards in hand) - Jade Serpent - 4/7, 3 to 8 golems.

Here we’re on turn 5, we dropped 37/40 of stats, and you won the game already. Even if they had a huge board presence (thanks to resident creeper 0 mana 5/5 for example) and manages to clear that one, it already jumpstarted your empire and you can start pumping 9/9, 10/10, 11/11 next turn. The fact you discarded your entire hand should be a huge disadvantage, but you only need to draw ultimate infestation and you’re already back in a comfortable position. Such a deck would probably run Lunar Vision just for the extra card draw since you dont need to run as many jade cards to get started on dominating the game.
