Pretty sure, if I recall right when I watched that episode in ages past, that they didn’t actually go all the way through but turned around shortly after they got into the large intestine and went back out the front.
 
Although Futurama touched on that concept a bit when Fry got the worms. XD

I dunno why, but I enjoy imagining the fandom’s reaction if such a plotline somehow came to pass in the show. I can see the reactions in the episode stream chat now…glorious.
