Well, on Valentine’s Day this picture is appropriate enough :D
Funny enough, I didn’t draw it for Valentine’s Day, I drew the picture and then went to deviantart and now there’s this Valentine’s Day, so I guess it is now.
But, to be honest this Pinkie + Trixie picture was inspired by Ceffyl Dwr’s fanfiction “Embers”. You can check it out here:

This picture is called “Return of Pinkie” is not called like that “just because”, I actually created a deviantart “RirePink” a long time ago and eventually I just lost motivation and interest in Pinkie, got bored maybe or sick of pink, shameful of me, really. That’s why you have “StarWanTrix” here on deviantart. Anyways Ceffyl Dwr inspired me to start drawing Pinkie once again. So here it is “Return of Pinkie”

Well, you see “RirePink” my old account dedicated to Pinkie Pie, and there’s my new account “StarWanTrix” dedicated to Trixie. And so, I decided to “merge” these accounts, thus you have a shipping “Pixie”. Pinkie and Trixie. Quite symbolical isn’t it?
“Return of Pinkie”, is like a return of an old friend to me, that means I will draw Pinkie much, much more. It’s a major change in my art. So, yep, more pink fluffy happiness.
