Eh, I’ve found that the show’s mostly succeeding at being funny when it’s actually trying to (I loved the season 6 comedy episodes especially - saddle row review and the one with squibble pants). Acting seems fine in it - for a cartoon show. And unlike a cartoon show, “reactions” really aren’t meant to be scripted… I’ll give you the post-movies EqG stuff though, that’s all been trash as well.
I’m not really sure because the last seasons (and EQG) have been bad scripted, overacted and generally full of unfunny trash.
The “bronies react” series is scripted, overacted, unfunny trash.
