I guess S&P didn’t like it.
I want a final commission of a depressed Flash strumming the world’s saddest riff on the world’s tiniest guitar.
Damn you…i was about to comment the same thing XD
@Poptard
No seriously, poor guy maybe we could see more of him in upcoming specials
Oh…

As for Flash’s complete non-presence here, they definitely seemed to stop giving a damn. Fans asking why Flash showed up for one second were giving a purely technical explanation, and when someone asked if Flash and Sunset’s thematic history was left out of the movie, Nick’s responses generally fell along the lines of “meh.”
I know plenty of people will rejoice that the showrunners seemed to have dumped Flash, but this makes me feel pretty sad. Poor guy was DoA.
I’d like that.
Hey, those 6 minutes could be flash time, beach time, or flash with beach time. You never know what they could hold.
I honestly saw that as Nick playing off the memory theme and pulling our legs.
6 minutes that the special’s writer didn’t even notice were missing, I should point out. Whatever those 6 minutes were, the likelihood of them being anything Flash-related is pretty slim. Of course, one could argue that the writer didn’t notice because he didn’t think that Flash was worth noticing, but considering how much more vocal the Flash Sentry fandom has gotten over the years, I think the writer would have noticed Flash being edited out.
There’s still the six-ish minutes that were cut for the broadcast we haven’t seen yet.
Better than nothing?…. I guess…………….

It’s a feeling that ain’t too groovy
Watching werewolves without you
In the time they were given, it probably would not have been feasible unless they were completely on point with their pacing, and the writers have a bit of history of not pacing things well. Ultimately, if they did consider Flash, they had to choose between him and Trixie and well…
A. Trixie is a popular character. Regardless of what you think of her, that can’t be understated.
B. Though it has died down quite a bit of over the years, there’s still the Waifu Thief stigma. After all, we’ve had people frothing at the mouth when Flash showed up twice in the main series for three seconds (He didn’t even have any dialogue the first time). Trixie is obviously the safer choice.
Speaking of which, this was probably one of the better paced MLP releases to come out of DHX. Certainly better paced than the Movie, that’s for sure.

Poor guy. It seems that he can’t catch a break after Rainbow Rocks.
Couldn’t they just make Flash and Trixie fill similar roles then, or fill basically the same role as a bit of a duo?
Got to agree with you there. Though it’s possible that his memories of her being nice were erased too, so he made an effort to avoid his ex.
I’ll complain! I don’t like Trixie. Give me some more of that Flash
