That was originally the case, eventually they started giving more people normal shoes.
I like good-yet-fiery-tempered-when-pushed-too-far Sunset.
It also reconciles her characterization in both the first movie and the rest of the series.

This Special has done a lot to… I hate to say salvage, cause I LIKE good Shimmer. I’ll go with reconcile her characterization.
I’d prefer Angry Shimmer, Meanie Shimmer sounds like Sunset when she was evil, Angry Shimmer sounds more like “angry sunset whenever she’s good girl or bad girl”.
I wish she did it more. I miss Meanie Shimmer…
