Living with twilight doesn’t count as still a student. So Im just saying that legend of everfree, the 3 eqg specials and the summertime shorts must have took place during SEASON 6. That’s like someone not agreeing on the mcu timeline, mainly with Spiderman Homecoming and Black panther taking place after civil war.

It didn’t have to be so complicated; the fandom could have just accepted that Equestria Girls is a part of the show’s timeline just like how it has with the MLP Movie, but people had to throw a fit over the idea of their pure pony show being corrupted with humans.

EQG has its own charm and has evolved from what it was originally supposed to be.
 
Sometimes it’s nice for the series that have different timelines in order to show different outcomes or at the very least interesting scenarios.
 
Bottom Line, stop pretending you speak for the rest of the fandom just because you don’t like a certain aspect of it. The only one who’s being pretentious and tone-deaf is YOU.
 
I’m sick of so-called fans like you throwing a temper tantrum every time something strays away from the status quo. If you don’t like it, get over it.

Furthermore it’s a sign of failure when you start watching what was supposed to be a cartoon for toddlers and little girl and end up with a tangled timeline with “parralel universe/shared universe”.It’s not a sign of complexity or depth,it just show that you cant even decide of a simple direction for your show about colored ponies that want to befriend their peers.It’s grotesque,it’s bloated,it’s pretentious,it’s tone-deaf and it’s worth repeating that said World B is worthless,redundant and derivative.  
To put it briefly,Care Bears is not and should not be Crisis on Infinite Earths.Really good cartoon like Steven Universe do fine without those gimmicks

There’s nothing to deduce when even the writers or McCarthy get confused with the meaning of “canon” or use nebulous pompous,vaguely Marvel Comics AU-inspired term like #SharedUniverse.They want their cake and eating it too;confusing your viewer with “sure,you can ignore EQG but it’s canon because they learned a lesson in it once but it wont interfere with the series also what is a moon”.It’s nonsensical,confused shit proving that EQG is a mess and a thorn on the side of the franchise
