@Biker Dash
True. Nor was I was trying to tell you to like them. I just find it kind of annoying to see these kind of comments when people make fanart for the previous generations.
@Biker Dash
Oh. So you’re one of those fans. Like it or not, G1 and the other previous Generations were a huge influence in making Friendship is Magic what it is today. And I honestly see no harm in fanart that respects and appreciates what came before G4.
Cotton Candy as Pinkie Pie, wow, that makes TOTAL SENSE. Cotton Candy’s thing was that she loooved anything sweet and was frankly kind of a glutton. She was always getting in trouble for eating other ponies’ gardens or sweets.
Note the original Six Princess Ponies were not at all alicorns… The proceeding joke will not reference that episode, but I just wanted to point that out. :3
Suddenly, a Galaxy Girl-y Megan appeared in Ponyland and they all made terrifying faces in reaction to her differing art style. ;D

That too.
Or photograph older gen toys, or comic scans, or anything.

But you can respect them instead of calling them scary.
That does NOT mean I have to like the earlier generations

G1 had a pegasus pony who could fly into another dimension where she met Megan.
Our beloved 4th Gen Mane Six morphing into a previous generation…
[shudders]
Maybe. They kind of didn’t really explain why.
Probably the cutie marks with their excessive number of parts trigger trypophobia for some people?
How is this nightmare fuel?
I’m sorry, I didn’t understand that.
It may depend on whether they refer to the toys or the shows and if they’re motherfucking women. :3
What do you mean, “I personally”??? Most bronies would agree with you, I’m sure.
