The final boss of Dark Souls, the wandering Red Hooded Slave Knight Anubis, on an quest to consume the entire Dark Soul, so that his blood could be used to paint a new world, a refuge away from the cycle of Light and Dark. This quest took him to the very end of the world, where the Chosen Ash, Serenity, confronts him in a final battle.
 
Afflicted with the same frenzy that took Shadowhooves, the Father of the Abyss, the same insanity that took Horus the Abyss Walker, Anubis is still holding true to his duty, and even wonders aloud if he has succeeded once Serenity’s attacks draw blood. Broken greatsword in wing, Anubis represents the indomitable will of Ponykind, fighting for a place in this world.
