The second meaning might be the good one, seeing that “a li corne” doesn’t mean anything in french… But in french, unicorn is translated “licorne”

Until it is officially stated to mean Pegasus Unicorns in the show, comics or merch then it is Fanon to me.

Well, the wings are a pretty sure indicator they mean hybrid Alicorn. But I maintain my belief it was made by a unicorn-Sombra. He either needed it to maintain is pony form after getting too deep in the Dark Side, or was trying to make himself an Alicorn.
