Someone on the Internet talked about DID and didn’t incorrectly refer to it as schizophrenia? Amazing.  
Sadly someone did tag it as MPD, which is no longer considered a disorder as having multiple personalities by itself does not constitute a diagnosis or illness. The ‘dissociative’ part is what makes it an illness.

Why use a fan made personality when they had Flutterbitch from when Discord messed with her mind? Or when she was a bitch on her own with a little coaxing from Iron Will? Two perfectly viable options. Heck, even Saddle Rager from the Power Ponies could be used, why one that’s not canon?

I think she just has a tendency to be “caught up” in the act. Due to her usually shy demeanor, she requires masks, or personas, to act strong for her.
