In all honesty I fucking hated the book episode.
Also Season 8 has been a wild, very weird ride so far. I kinda like it…
Anyhow, just wanted to quickly upload. Will add better description sometime soon. Life has been chaos recently. But I do headcannon these two (Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy mums) to be very close friends and constantly gush about their rather accomplished daughters.

your current filter.Poor guy. I can picture Mrs. Shy using that as a private nickname for him but that doesn’t feel like a real name. Maybe we can think of a better (and family friendly) name for him.

Petunia’s a nice name. That name still has the flower theme Posey has. (Even though it’s now confirmed that no G1 ponies are the mothers of the Mane 6, I like to headcanon that their G1 counterparts are still related to them in some way like as aunts and cousins. I can picture Mrs. Shy and Posey as sisters easily.)
But what about Flutter’s dad though? We still need a name for him.

Why, for taking a jab at overzealous bronies who can’t stop harping on the flaws of their least liked Mane 6 character? I think the fandom really needed such a swat on the rear, tbh. Every time I would see someone launch into a salty tirade about how bad they think a character is, I would always post in response:
But from now on I think I might just respond with a gif from Flawless, since that song seems to have pissed quite a lot of those obnoxious complainers off. :P

That’s a shame. It would be nice if they got names.
Unfortunately not, and my attempt to give them fanon names never got any traction.
Especially with how intimate Dash is with Flutters family to the point Fluttershy’s parents have mistakenly believed Dash to be pining for their son Zephyr for years,it’s clear she is a long family friend,probaly since she was Fluttershy’s only friend in her youth.
Indeed out of all the mane six parents they are the only ones who live in the same community together,as Twilight’s live in Canterlot And pinkies on a Rockfarm. Rarity and Applejacks parents may have known each other in the small town but of course Applejacks parents are dead now and we’re never even sure if Rairty’s parents grew up in ponyville or retired there since their daugther lives there. We need an episode about rarity’s family,her parents are quite unexplored compared to every other mane six who had an episode detailing their family dynamics.

Oh. With the talk of Season 8 and the fact that this picture had Mrs. Shy and Windy Whistles in it, I thought they might have been talking about a Season 8 episode (possibly even one that was leaked a while back). My mistake.
