No. Dance magic takes place after LOE. It was supposed to be before but then since dance magic was released after loe. They changed the script from saying funds to attend they changed it to repairs.

Actually, I asked Ishi ruddell and he said they are between junior and senior year. So these specials take place during the new school year if it’s after LOE, which was the summer.

Who knows? Monster High has been going on for six years until the reboot. And there is no indication what grade they are in. Same can be said about Equestria Girls.

I’m pretty sure there are only 4 years in high school and considering what happened in the 1st EQG implies they are in thier 4th year. I doubt a 5th year…unless they all get held back for skme bs reason.

Muh Sunset is back! Now they just need to remove all the mane 6 and put her in Equestria forever. My Little Sunset: Friendship is Muh

ok first short: I will like very much since i like the shadow five!  
Second Short:Interesting to see how the equestria girls daring do does  
and Third short:Very awesome storyline since now we know that image of equestria girls starlght is up, we now know it its the one from equestria and it is awesome that sunset will return to equestria to meet starlight FOR THE FIRST TIME CANON EVER!!!!!, oh and how juniper montage will affect this with limbo is alright.

Number three is what I’m hoping to see.

First Short: Glad to see CPA characters getting a bit more fleshed out than they were in the movie. Should be good  
Second Short: Hmmm interesting, it’s gonna be fun to see Daring Do in EQG and to see Human Dash fangirl about the whole thing. But it’s honestly the one I’m least interested in  
Third Short: It’s the fan fiction story everyone has already done a million times over, now featuring Starlight Glimmer!  
In all seriousness I’m super excited about this one, finally Sunset returns to Equestria and while I’m sure it’s unlikely she will meet up Celestia it does give me hope they will do it in the next movie.

There goes my theory that Sunset’s journal had infinite pages.

To be fair it only mentions here meeting Glimmer. Doesn’t really mention anyone else and seeing as it’s not the central part of the plot and the short time I doubt she’s going to show up at all.

I doubt the Equestria portion is going to be long. I bet it’s going to be pretty brief. Remember they only have 22 minutes in the special and the focus of the special isn’t about Sunset going to Equestria.
