@Ihhh
Lando was a Star Wars character first and a diversity hire never since the diversity was already being taken care of by the various alien races throughout the trilogy and the fact that Billy Dee Willams never let his race define the character (much like Avery Brooks never let his race define Sisko in DS9). Meanwhile, Rey, Finn, Poe, DJ, Rose, Holdo, and the rest of the non-original hero cast all let their race and/or gender define their character.
Give it 10 years time, people will still remember the character Lando. They won’t remember Rey or the rest of team diversity beyond the fact that they weren’t white and male.
Yes
>op is wrong
So which is it then?
I’m sorry, but you dd not earn that mic drop. You can’t just make claims like that without backing them up.

At least George Lucas didn’t go on record saying that Star Wars needs less white people. Just saying.
That’s not how you spell George Lucas.
Knows that feeling.
I know it’s Uwe Boll but why the hell he’s mostly resembles Jackfilms?
Well duh, that’s why Twilight has the Razzie and not her.
