Let’s be fair here: The Harry the bear who lives in a house story was heavily implied to have been bullpucky… and it still is, by the way: They claimed he lived in a cave that feels like a house, and it’s actually a hollow tree, not a cave.

In Cutie Mark Chronicles, after Pinkie told her story, she said to the CMC “Maybe on the way home I can tell you the story of how I got my cutie mark”, that’s what possibly made people think she’d made it up.
