I know. I wish Sony and Microsoft would realize that consoles can be more than boxs that play games. If I wanted to do that, I’ll just use my PC. And with the way they’ve been making them with the downloading almost makes just another PC.
It’s why I miss Iwata. Say what you will about the Wii and every other console and handheld after that, at least Nintendo did what they did to stand out from the rest.
@Burger King Leonidas
The only exception is Nintendo. They aren’t anywhere near perfect, but they are certainly better then then the others by leaps and bounds. And their games tend to be pretty good. With real “innovation” to them.
Edited
Especially since now most if not all of them have tunnel visioned on making open world games. What is the point of making an open world game out of Ghost Recon if it still remains heavily stealth focused like Future Soldier?
With wanting more “live services” like EA? With homogenizing all of their games and shoving microtransactions in? With being infamous for their atrocious DRM years back and defending it before they told the truth and removed it? I disagree. They’re as bad as EA and Activision-Blizzard at times, pulling the same bad business practices and corporate dishonesty that the other AAA companies love to do. I have no love for AAA corporate publishers.
Might be bias. I’ve grown up on Ubisodt games and whole I’ve seen them fuck up big time before, they’ve been getting better in recent years.
Still bad enough. It’s like saying potassium cyanide isn’t the worst poison.
At least he isn’t the worst pony of the group.
