Monkeys need UV light, warm temperatures, a specialized diet, and need to be kept in groups of their own kind. Most of the ‘happiness’ they have is actually stress through having been separated from their parents at a young age. Unless you own a miniature zoo, monkeys are not good pets. If you want something weird, get a reptile, amphibian or a sugar glider.

Don’t think that Simon’s comment is wrong. It’s barely pony related.
 
We know Lauren Faust is the creator of the FiM universe, but to say a picture of her outside of fandom/show events is directly related to the show is not true.
 
It certainly doesn’t make him a “twat” or an idiot. Lay off the guy. It’s not that serious. No need to insult.

Squirrel monkeys are cute. I remember interviewing for a research job at a university though and being freaked out when the professor decided to show me his jar of squirrel monkey HEADS! Fortunately they were treated well while alive (he would just anesthetize them for the experiment and then not wake them up), but it was still freaky. I didn’t take the job.
