Oh sure, but if it clashes too heavily the image as a whole suffers. I don’t think it looks outright bad but red wouldn’t have been my first choice.

I agree, red was difficult to work with. Celestia has no red elements to her color scheme so a lighter blue or violet probably would have worked better.
