I agree, while at the same time I disagree.
 
I agree because, obviously, they’re lesbians in the comics and not having them as lesbians in the show would be stupid.
 
I disagree because of the fact that other characters from the comics have appeared with changes to their backstories and are still likeable, therefore the Aunts could work as a non couple (one is Scootaloo’s dads sister, and the other is Scootaloo’s mom’s sister, not in the comics but how they’d probably change it up if they decided to change their backstory).
 
Ultimately, as with all characters, it’s really more of their personality and likeability that will decide whether or not they’ll be a good addition to the show.

Being a children’s program, more likely to be implied than confirmed. Either way, still her loving aunts.

I hope it gets confirmed in the show that Lofty and Holiday are a couple. If not in the current season, then maybe in the next.
