A great and powerful unicorn…and Trixie…try out a transformation spell. Starlight is loving it; Trixie is having none of it.
Challenge Day 6: “Draw a pony as another species / Draw a pony transforming their life.” Quality is eh (especially the coloring) this time around but I still like it. Maybe because Starlight finally gets wings.

Still they shouldn’t be completely restricted, just only for use by those who are highly trained in magic and are very unlikely to use them for evil purposes. not to mention are competent, so not these two

Two things spring to my mind, at least.
A,) Legal issues. Like, if a pyromaniac suddenly learns how to turn into a dragon, that city is going to be in for a bad time, just for one example. Or how a can-mare that can turn a corner and change species would be a nightmare to track.
B,) Safety, slash some sort of licensing thing. You don’t want some poor, untrained schmuck dying because their spleen got stuck as a goat spleen and went necrotic, or things like that.
