Starlight does have a life outside the show. It happened off canera.
Yeah, I dunno, I find the school a touch confusing in general.
Except the farmer, wonderbolt and designer are life long friends who been thru a lot. They would do anything for each other. Also Twi is THE Princess of Friendship.
Starlight only ever goes adventuring with Trix, hangs out with Maud for relaxing and…how the hell did she hire Spitfire for gym class?
Spitfire! Teaching gym to a bunch of untrained kids? Can’t Starlight get…I dunno, BULK?
Twilight Sparkle got a farmer, a Wonderbolt, and a popular fashion designer out of their schedules to teach a bunch of kids. Maybe it’s easier than we think.
But if Lightning Dust redeems herself and reconciles with Rainbow Dash and Spitfire, then Spitfire would make a great addition to Starlight Glimmer’s group of friends.
Dusty is an incredibly gifted flier and Suri is a talented and clever designer.
They would be great additions to the team.

She is really charismatic and also friends with the princesses, Rainbow, Maud and Trixie.
…holy crap, that some persuasive power Starlight’s got.
If only they would get Spitfire around to correct her mistake and take Dusty back.
I keep thinking Starlight should somehow combine her speed spell with her flying spell. Become the first honorary unicorn Wonderbolt.
Glimmy would be an excellent choice as her teacher.
Suri should be redeemed, too.
