“Immersive Fantasy World” ~~my ass~~ which they only explore it to bare minimum with the map episodes, plot relevant ones and the movie. It felt like a distraction and complementary to the overall series.

Fans complain about EG set in the high school setting but didn’t realize it’s doing essentially the same thing and whatnot… “friendship and all that”

Crafting ideas and stories for MLP is somewhat unsatisfactory rather than enriches the world and characters. It felt like we’re doing the work and feeling the blanks for the writers like Steven Universe. Since the show rather rehashes the same stories from previous seasons either by regressing the characters or using new characters. *Most of the times in recent seasons anyway.

I just turn my brain off on shows like mlp so I can enjoy it for what it is at face value and not go looking too much into it because at the end of the day its just a show for kids. If its stupid enough to push beyond that then I will see there is something wrong that I don’t like.

I find people take things too seriously at times and nitpik a bit. But we’re all entitled to our own opinions anyways.
