I honestly think that Luna is super overrated anyway. I mean she pretty much threw a temper tantrum like a bratty teenager when she wasn’t getting the attention she wanted, even though there were probably plenty of ponies who appreciated the night.

I don’t think Scootaloo got upstaged either, especially with the end where Dash was carrying Scootaloo. I seriously thought she was flying for a second, but it was still nice.

The general consensus is that that Luna’s appearance was well-received, but it didn’t detract from the core of the story which is Scootaloo.
