Ok, let’s not ask: “Was Princess Celestia and Princess Luna born being Alicons?”
The real questions are: Does Princess Celestia attempt to start a family in the past? or tried to find a husband?
Princess Luna has been locked in the moon for 1000 years. What is the excuse of Princess Celestia. (does not count immortality or longevity or that she has not had time for her work)

Just think about it, we didn’t saw the birth of the baby. For all we know Celestia could take the real baby (most likely unicorn) and replace it with the product of her bio-magical engineering in her master plan to ensure the alicorn power over Equestria …
More like: I must admit I didn’t think much of Flurry first time I laid eyes on her; looked like a stiff breeze would send those freak wings into an unrecoverable spin. That was my first impression of the filly.
