She was supposed to get her second chance 6 years ago.  
Now she got screwed over again.  

I’ve decided to rewatch Wonderbolts Academy today and it seems like I was not the only one. Hehe. But really, rewatching that episode (twice!) just made it clear to me that Lightning Dust is an incredibly reckless pony who cares about no one other than herself. Rainbow Dash told her that her actions were endangering ponies, but she just didn’t care. She lacks empathy. I don’t like her at all.
 
You want to see a pony who’s flawed but likable? Look no further than Starlight Glimmer. Some people would call her a sociopath, while giving Lightning Dust a free pass. And I can’t understand why for the life of me. Lightning Dust does not deserve to be redeemed.

The fact that people are so fucking dense that they will constantly misinterpret everything LD says to say she’s a sociopath is baffling.

I remember that in Polish dub Rainbow said her friends will get killed:

The calls to lynch Lightning Dust were loud and clear from the Fanbase the very instant that the episode established that she was the antag. It didn’t matter that the Mane6 flew into military airspace unannounced, while the cadets were performing maneuvers.
 
The same fandom cried tears of mercy for the kids that demolished part of the school and caused ponies to run in terror from the wreckage, because we’ve seen ponies withstand physical punishment before.
 
So which is it? Can’t have it both ways.

They havent made the same mistake since. How you can compare them to a pony who litteraly wouldnt give two shits if she killed someone is beyond me.

It’s because Lightning didn’t care she almost killed someone and then tried to justify it.
 
She hasn’t shown any remorse for the people she hurt since she was introduced.

Then Season 8 comes around, and the Friendship school gets demolished by some remedial brats skipping class and everyone thinks it’s cool.
