Well, after lashing out to Pinkie that she’d be better off without the Mane 5, she then realizes that she was a disobedient alicorn who made a mistake and not a selfish stealer and trickster. After all, Twilight was truly the one responsible not listening to Queen Novo, trying to steal the pearl, and causes herself along with friends to be falafels banished by the Queen, being lashed out and berated by Pinkie for not trusting the Mane 5 when stealing the pearl without asking, failed friendship, and gives up all hope of saving Equestria from the Storm King’s invasion of tyranny believing that she let everypony including the Mane 5, Spike, the Princesses, and the rest of Equestria, Queen Novo, Princess Skystar, and the rest of the hippogriff/sea-pony population down.
Well, the beach seen the episode, “Surf and/or Turf” is not the Basalt Beach seen in the movie where Queen Novo banish the Mane Six to, Twilight was berated by Pinkie for not trusting her friends because of her disobedience to Queen Novo of stealing the pearl, Tempest and Grubber successfully captured Twilight after she was possibly abandoned by the Mane Five, when the Mane Six realized what they have done abandoning Twilight and letting her get captured by the Storm King’s army after Spike tells them that the Storm King’s henchman and troops have captured Twilight and takes her back to Equestria (where the Storm King has successfully full conquered and ruled Equestria) in the Storm King’s airship, and Capper, Captain Celaeno and her crew, and Princess Skystar came to help the Mane Six saved Equestria from the Storm King. The beach that was seen in the episode was actually beach that was near Mount Aris and not far from Mount Aris.
Yes, ShyLover is correct. That’s the beach scene. It was still a little hard for me to swallow the confrontation between Twilight and Pinkie here. I feel that Twilight went below the belt.

I think I know what beach scene you’re talking about. Yeah I agree. The beach really looked all dark and gloomy, because Storm King destroyed Mount Aris.
But at least……
At least after Storm King’s defeat, and the way how Mount Aris is rebuild and back to normal again since the Hippogriffs and Seaponies are out and safe, the 6th episode of Season 8 has made the beach much more brighter and better again instead of it looking all dark and gloomy.
Edited
Wait…..what beach scene?
