Well, this is a redraw, the point of which is to take note of how the artist has improved or changed over time. That naturally elicits discussion. And it’s not like any of the comments here are “this is garbage, you should never make art again.” It’s just a few people either giving their opinion or offering mild criticism. In my opinion, this is actually what a healthy comment section should look like.

I sometimes wonder why artists even post here.

you can barely tell there’s blush on the second one and what level is there is natural especially if she was wearing makeup?

I personally never liked ‘permanently red cheeks’ thing. It makes them looks dirty and drunk. Even worse if nose is red/maroon too.

Hey there @mylittleyouri, first off all, let me say this. You improved a lot these past few years. The shading, coloring, and most of the body anatomy looks improved. The hair looks very nice, and the lighting/shading here feels much more natural and gradual. The body and head shape look better proportioned with each other. So I want to congratulate you on that and to keep on working on it. You’ve been doing great so far!
 
Now… I will agree with the others and say this. The facial structure is really my only issue here. The eyes for this year are very far away, and while the eyes from the 2016 version are a bit small, the feel a bit more nature due to their placement. And the ears do look a little odd at this angle, and like with the eyes, the placement feels more nature from 2016. My suggestions to improve is to perhaps bring the eyes a bit closer together and lower on the face; and in this piece in particular, bring the angle of the ears back to something around 2016’s. With human ears, they don’t really stick out that much and are a little more laid back near the head. If that makes sense of course!
 
Anyway, keep up the good work. You’ve been doing good so far, and with more practice- you’ll do even better. Anyway, take care MLY.

The body looks better, the face in the other hand…

I do not find that face to be an improvement. :x
