I am the artist however and I hadn’t seen or heard of you until now so all I can say is it is a coincidence. I did base their pony counterparts’ outfits on the canon Diamond outfits from the show though. I just recently saw another artist draw an underrated character that I just happened to draw beforehand and I thought it was a coincidence at first like most things happen to be until he actually admitted to me that he was inspired into drawing that character because of me. This is why I speculated the possibility that you may have been inspired by me and the thing is… I hadn’t seen any other artists who actually tried to match the Diamond outfits to the canon ones and to a tee; most artists who have drawn the Diamonds seemed to have swayed away from trying to make their pony counterparts’ outfits match to the Diamomds outfits in the actual show.
