I only remove the tags when the image is just a unedited screencap, or I don’t realize that the artist is shipping them.
 
I’ve never removed the tags from an image that explicitly ships them, nor do I go on to those images and say I don’t think it’s Canon.
 
I do it to images like this because they’re claiming it (Rarijack) is Canon. Because it’s obviously uploaded to start stuff.

You have a habit of going to picks that are explicitly and properly tagged as Rarijack just to voice that you don’t think it’s canon, which is downright rude. It’s unasked for, it doesn’t contribute to anything productive or help anyone, and it’s downright stepping onto people’s lanes for just for the sake of it. You’re coming to an artist’s work and denouncing or decrying the validity of what, to them, might be a very real thing and even if not, real enough on a personal level that it motivated them to make the art in the first place. In other words, you’re shitting on their motivation. You even make it a point to go around removing shipping tags, sometimes even when you shouldn’t, on top of it all!
 
So if you don’t wanna be a jerk, quit raining on people’s parades and let people have fun with their shipping. Nobody cares if you or me don’t ship one particular ship or don’t think it’s canon, so quit shoving that onto everyone’s faces, specially when that’s already all you’re known for.
