I see what you mean now. I just tend to distinguish terms about ponies’ age stage strictly.
Oh, I was using “colt” to mean male/boy, you meant actual colt, not stallion, derp.
I meant stallions are larger than mares.

Colts are usually larger than mares, he’s not young, he’s literally just a short-ass. Hence why he’s getting bullied for it in this picture.
I mean, usually colt is smaller than average grown mare and he’s smaller than sign, so I think he is shaped like a colt irrespective of specific age.
No, sign is average mare height. He is just small
Lock is standing next to the camera, while Sign is still in front of the camera, so he’s closer to the viewer in those panels.
Stallions are hard to draw.
