Been working on this one for a whiiiiile! I loved it ever since the sketch but colouring it turned out to be a fair bit of work so it took me a while. but omg I just had to finish this lovely piece of soft squishy coils.I just love how Derpy’s pose and expression came out haha.
Oh and so this snake is like one I keep drawing as one of Fluttershy’s many animals haha. I decided he should get some… gifts. and maybe Fluttershy enjoys having a little fun with that.
It sure seems like she’s been feeding him well, he’s grown a fair bit since I drew him before I think.

She named him that because he’s light brown with darker brown spots like a chocolate chip I guess?XD
It was the only name I could think of but I thought it was something I could see Fluttershy coming up with

Heh I know her as Derpy too of course but I put all the tags just to cover all bases. Although I thought I Typed Muffins cus that would be her name in the show credits haha

Ditzy Doo - Actual birth name
Derpy Hooves - Nickname invented first as teasing and later adopted after her friends say it’s cute
Muffin/Muffins - affectionate nickname by those super close to her like family or loved ones
