Current Chrysalis is an idiot. The only mistakes “A Canterlot Wedding” Chrysalis made were A) not acting cheery enough, and B) revealing herself when she could’ve mind controlled Twilight while the two of them were alone together.
 
Also, 99% of the “good” changelings are ugly as sin.

Like I said, shapeshifters can cater to a lot of kinks and fetishes, which makes almost any shapeshifter mid-to-high tier material for Waifus, Husbandos and fapping.

Replace “nightmare” with “wet dream”, ‘cause I love emotivores, hypnosis/mind control, and shapeshifters.  
While those aren’t my only kinks and/or fetishes, the shapeshifting allows them to cater to a lot more of them.  
Then again, if I fell under their control, then I suppose the only fetish I’d have then would be serving my new King and/or Queen.
