Going by what I’ve read online, yes. At the very least they’re far more common than anyone would have believed even a decade or so ago.

Just like rogue planets. They were once seen as very rare, but now some astronomers think there may be as many as two of them for every star in the Milky Way galaxy. So, a minimum of 400-600 million of them shooting around interstellar space like giant pinballs?

I’m old enough to remember when the mere idea of a ‘hot Jupiter’ would have seemed ridiculous.
