Except that any half-dedicated person could trivially remove the watermark. I know I can remove them using just a single command to a python script.
 
Even if you don’t know how to do it properly it doesn’t take long at all to almost completely remove the watermark using something like GIMP or photoshop.
 
Those theives are terrible, but the default DA watermarks are not an effective solution to the problem. In fact, I would argue that it’s counterproductive by giving artists a false sense of security. Custom watermarks are much more difficult to remove.
 
If people would like I can repost this without the watermark, but I’d rather get admin approval before doing so because of the concerns already expressed.

It it is the sad truth. Dozens of plushie makers have had their plushie photos stolen by bootleggers and countless other scammers. Its better to be safe than sorry.

Those watermarks are there for a reason, though.  
There are people out there who will steal un-watermarked images of plushies, claim them as their own work, and then ‘sell’ them to unwitting customers.  
Watermarks with source sites on them help to prevent those types of scams.  
It’s an unfortunate consequence of a handful of assholes out there.

If those boots are removable it might be better than the other one because you will have four little compartments instead of one big one.
