Lauren said she wanted AJ’s parents to be deceased, for whatever reason, but then remembered the marketed audience and changed to them both being merchants or something who are traveling all over the world, also for whatever reason. That was never made official, so it’s up to the rest of the staff whether or not to go a different route. My gut says they’ll be a no-show this Saturday.

Still no mentioning of AJ’s parents. If the episode goes by and still no sign of them, can we conclude that they are gone?
