My first time playing a Cleric, my team was shocked by my abilities since most of them still thought of Clerics as just healers due to their nature in video games, while I made my cleric revolve around buffing, casing damaging spells, and being a secondary fighter for the group if our Paladin got killed.
 
Once I got some inspiration from Warhammer 40K and created a character with half their levels in Paladin, and half in Rogue, creating an Inquisitor character… It was using that character that I found a magic rapier from a mummified lizard-man in a jungle temple, I never figured out what the sword did, but I was the first person in the group to get a magic item, too bad that I had to abandon that game due to real-life problems.
 
Still though, I want to play more Roleplaying Games in the future, but unfortunately, I don’t really have any friends to play with.

I know the pain well. I’m playing as a Cleric in one of the campaigns I’m in right now and while I’ve had pretty decent luck with healing rolls so far, I’m still easily the weakest one of the party in terms of HP. High AC thanks to chain mail and a shield comes in handy, but it is never enough.
 
Let’s just say that the last time we encountered a group of hostile archers, I spent most of the encounter rolling Death Saving Throws while the rest of the party silently prayed nothing would happen to them. (It didn’t help that we were separated at the time, and as such, rather outnumbered.)

Both that and the rolls I make when seeing how much HP my characters have, Sorcerers and Clerics aren’t usually known as the tankiest of characters.

I mostly play Sorcerers and Clerics, think about this problem but with HP rolls.

Relatable, except it’s usually Ranged Attacks in my case. I’ve literally gone a whole session without hitting a target once. Darn Dexterity modifiers.

True enough, but it would apply more often than not. And you can always remove an unneeded tag. Sort of like how you can tag a r63 mare pairing with the normal pairing tag then remove lesbian since it’s straight in that instance.
