Oh man, I never meant to guilt trip! I speak in awe, not jealously! Though I certainly see your point.

I had more the mindset of (if you pardon the very specific reference) Martin Brundle - a successful racing driver - talking about the skills and abilities of Ayrton Senna - an exceptional racing driver - with the admission of “I can’t do that!”

Be that as it may, and if I may say so, even before I read your comment, I began to sketch out a picture last night. I’ve been doing digital design for a long time, but haven’t “painted” in years, and this has inspired to start again! :)

Non-Fungible Trixie -
Preenhub - We all know what you were up to this evening~
Magical Inkwell - Wrote MLP fanfiction consisting of at least around 1.5k words, and has a verified link to the platform of their choice

Comments like that tend to cause artists to have guilt trips. They deal with the same frustrations you do. It’s just they manage to at some point overcome them. I doubt even this artist is 100% happy with their work. The only difference between you and them is they kept at it until they got to a certain level in this particular technique. There’s nothing stopping you from doing the same.

Btw they also got help with the interiors from https://www.deviantart.com/v747/gallery/ They by no means did it alone.

Wow, that feeling when you used to enjoy doing art, look at a painting and realise there’s not a single inch you could even hope to emulate in skill and talent…

Anyway, that comment on dA about having it hung in a museum has it right!
