There’s gonna be a huge dump of these, as I recently realized while I was thinking of what scenarios to do, that I didn’t have enough designs for the older ponies, and that means I’ll be working on a lot of them, so there may be a gap between the story pieces and the next one, as I fill out the cast of the show. This may mean more simple descriptions, though for some ponies, it’s just because a lot will be revealed later rather then just now, and the history isn’t as important. So forgive me for the shorter descriptions.
This drawing is special! strawberry-spritz wanted to help with the Miracleverse, and since I have some trouble with hairstyles sometimes and she is the absolute GODDESS of hairstyles, I happily accepted. She drew most of this, with me making minor edits (adding the eyeshadow and changing the eyelashes, and drawing the hoodie), so she should take most, if not all of the credit!
Wife to Noteworthy Blues, mother of Tootsie Flute and Turquoise Tempo, Ex-wife of “Bon Bon”, AKA Agent Sweetie Drops. Lyra is totally over her ex-wife, she swears. What about her mane dye or eyeshadow? There’s nothing weird about wanting to spice up your look. Nothing important about that choice at all.
Lyra and Bon Bon began to split apart over how the events of ‘Slice of Life’ ended for the two of them; while normally, in every other universe, they settled their differences and continued in their relationship without secrets, and for reasons, in the Miracleverse, the events of the Crystal Empire and Lyra leaving to comfort Twilight led to them being unable to reconcile as easily, Lyra unable to deal with having been lied to by her wife, and Bon Bon infuriated that Lyra couldn’t understand that it was a matter of national security. They split up, with joint custody of their daughter, Tootsie Flute, and both (rather quickly) remarried.
She met Noteworthy one day while he was writing a song and on a whim, because he looked handsome, she swears, not because Bon Bon was talking with another stallion and eyeing him up while she watched, asked him on a date. Anyone who’s seen ‘Crazy Ex Girlfriend’ and remembers Greg and Rebecca’s first kiss and almost sex should know how that went. Those who don’t, the whole thing was a mess, and Noteworthy basically was her comforter as she complained and obviously missed Bon Bon the whole time, but hey, she wasn’t interested in stopping and neither was he, so they sort of just happened.
The wedding happened in a rush job to compete with Bon Bon’s wedding to her equally new boyfriend, Caramel, and Hazelnut Hushup was born a day before Turquoise Tempo. Essentially every relationship milestone came about at around the same time as Bon Bon’s relationship with Caramel, and there’s absolutely nothing weird about that and that’s not a sign or anything, just a bunch of coincidences.
Lyra has a secret pen pal that she refuses to divulge, though her husband Noteworthy assumes, and somewhat hopes, she’s writing to and cheating on him with Bon Bon, because to be honest, he can see the writing on the walls and that Lyra isn’t happy with him. He’d rather her be happy, but she insists she’s over Bon Bon and Bon Bon insists she’s over Lyra, so there’s no reason for him to worry.
Lyra still has trust issues because of Bon Bon’s whole life being a secret to her own wife, but even still, there’s a longing in her voice when she talks.
They’re not over each other.
