Well, his head isn’t used as piñata because you can see that after he is smashed into bits, you can see only part of his head including his upper jaw.

The first time I saw it in the theater I really thought they’d made a piñata of his actually busted-off head, and was kind of in awe at how hardcore The Movie was, because that is dark.
