Ha ha. That’s what I think too! Flash seems to genuinely be a nice guy. He is the honorable sort, and that’s why I ship Flash and Twilight.

I agree, I don’t like them too much but at least I like that they both behave as normal teenage boys.
 
In regards with someone like Sunburst I agree, with the last 2 episodes (counting the finale as 1) Twilight showed great chemistry and dynamic with him, and even if they don’t like each other that way… it shows that Twilight bonds greatly with someone like Sunburst.

Sheesh, with the hate these two get in certain parts of the fandom, you’d think they comitted a serious crime or something. They’re just lackluster love interests, people (though I’m starting to like Flash more after Legend of the Everfree). I’d rather focus on writing them better. Though personally I would like to see Twily (either one) end up with a sweet nerdy guy like Sunburst; it may sound stereotypical, but I feel a fellow nerd could connect with her a lot more easily. In more ways than one. Of course, no one said the nerdy girl has to be with a nerdy guy, but I’m looking at chemistry of interests and personalities; they need something to build a bond over.
 
And actually, seeing them be buddies could help make them more likeable as we get to see their personalities bounce off each other and focus on something other than their attempts to get in Twily’s pants date Twilight Sparkle.
